Our story
An idea inspired by Morositas.
Before it became BerryPuff, it was a need we had at home. Then came drawings, a sewing course, prototypes and plenty of trials.
Follow the journey
His own spot, even when it changes.
Morositas was the starting point. During the day, he rested on the floor near us. When we needed to go out, preparing his spot on the sofa helped us find a more familiar routine.
That raised a question: why not create a pet bed that could follow him through different moments of the day, instead of asking him to adapt to a fixed shape?
I had the idea. I needed to learn how to sew it.
I started a sewing course. With my teacher’s help, I went from drawings to patterns, from fabric to the first stitches.
I brought my ideas to the table; she taught me how to turn them into something tangible. The proportions, the side cushions and every detail began to take shape.
Try. Wash. Start again.
The first prototypes had buttons. I tried them, but they weren’t the solution I was looking for. I moved on to hook-and-loop closures, comparing materials and different ways of joining the parts.
Washing revealed problems too. Every attempt brought me back to work: making changes, looking for another material and trying again.
An early attempt, in a few seconds.

Care also goes into what you don’t see.
After several attempts, I found a hook-and-loop closure suited to the project through a company in Lombardy. I chose it after practical trials, including washing, to join the parts and separate them when needed.
I didn’t invent that material: I worked on how to integrate it into the bed. The Italian-made grey base fabric is also part of this search. BerryPuff is designed and sewn in Italy.
One pet bed. More ways to use it.
Snug with all sides in place, open at the front, or laid flat. On the floor or on the sofa, with the sides you choose. The design was created to adapt to spaces, habits and seasons.
Behind BerryPuff are a person, an idea and plenty of trials. This is the value I want to bring to every bed: considered choices, craftsmanship and the freedom to change.
